Hungover in Tallinn

Hungover in Tallinn

Two months ago, Kelly and I were on a trip to Estonia. Kelly had bought us flight tickets as a Christmas present and had a really hard time waiting for February to come.

When we finally got going, we had to take a connecting flight from Aalborg to Copenhagen and then on to Tallinn. The waiting in Copenhagen Airport turned out to be a bit of a challenge, as the bastards had chosen to completely remove the smoking areas.

A night out in Reykjavík with Peter and Bjørn

A night out in Reykjavík with Peter and Bjørn

About a month ago, Bjørn and I had a visit from our dear friend Peter from Denmark. He stayed here for two weeks and we spend the first one experiencing Reykjávíks colourfull nightlife.

We started out at Café Rót, for a stoner-rock concert performed by some very young, but enthusiastic boys. Free entrance, as is the most common concept on most of the live concerts I’ve been to in Reykjávík.

Ásbirgi (Del 1) – Op af stolen og ud ad døren

Ásbirgi (Del 1) - Op af stolen og ud ad døren

Hey there.

Today I’m gonna show you some pictures from a trip that Bjørn, Peter and I was on recently, in nothern Iceland. It was a three day trip, covering the weekend. There’s alot of pictures and allot to tell, so I’ve chosen to split this into three chapters.

The ever-hard working Bjørn had his mind set on getting out of town to recharge a little. He was insisting that we simply HAD to take this trip going north, which turned out to be a rather fantastic experience at the end of it.

Kárahnjúkar – Øst Island

Kárahnjúkar - Øst Island

Hej allesammen.

Geysers and Waterfalls

 with one comment

Geysers and Waterfalls

I’m a bit late with this one, but I’ve been working on some uploading issues for my pictures for a couple of days now.

This last weekend, we met up with one of our old friends we got to know at Aalborg Technical Collage. Björgvin (that’s his name) moved to Denmark for 5 years to get his education as an IT-Supporter and is now living back home in Reykjavik with his wife Björk. He was very exited when I first told him that Anders and I were moving to Reykjavik for a longer period of time, and promised us that he would take us to see all kinds of stuff, like geysers and waterfalls. And so he did.

Arrival in Reykjavík

Arrival in Reykjavík

I’m writing this at about 2 am in the morning from a hotel bed in mid Reyjkavik.

Anders and I didn’t get much sleep the past two days, as we traveled from Aalborg (Denmark), starting Saturday night, arriving today, Sunday afternoon, in Iceland at the Keflavik airport, to work as trainees for a company called EJS for the next two weeks.
